Conestoga Girls Lacrosse Raises $23,100 for the Peter Kienzle Fighting Back Scholarship Fund

We are incredibly grateful to the Conestoga Girls Lacrosse team for once again bringing the community together in support of Fighting Back.

On May 10, runners, walkers, volunteers, families and supporters gathered for the STOGA Lacrosse 5K & 1 Mile Walk, creating a morning filled with movement, encouragement and community spirit. The event ultimately raised an incredible $23,100 for the Peter Kienzle Fighting Back Scholarship Fund.

Members of the team later took a brief break from preparations for their State Championship game to present Fighting Back with the check — a moment that reflected the tremendous work, generosity and heart behind the event.

The Peter Kienzle Fighting Back Scholarship Fund helps provide financial support for individuals living with life-changing injuries, illnesses and disabilities so they can continue participating in adaptive fitness and remain connected to Fighting Back’s Community of Support.

We are deeply appreciative of the Conestoga Girls Lacrosse players, coaches and families who organized the event, along with the sponsors, volunteers and every person who came out to run, walk, cheer and support the cause.

Their commitment is a wonderful example of what happens when a community comes together with a shared purpose: helping others keep moving forward.

Thank you, Conestoga Girls Lacrosse, for continuing to make a difference for the people and families we serve.
